AJAK Syed Jamat has been serving the Syed community for more than 70 years. For generations it has kept Syed families connected on one platform, preserved our traditions, and stood beside those who need support.
Our main work is helping safed posh Syed families: respectable families who are struggling but do not ask anyone for help. We reach them quietly and with dignity.
The families of AJAK Syed Jamat are Sadaat, descendants of the Holy Prophet ﷺ through his beloved grandson Imam Husain (a.s.), the Martyr of Karbala.
Our line comes down through the seventh Imam, Imam Musa al-Kazim (a.s.). The descendants of Imam Musa Kazim are known as Kazmi or Musawi Sadaat.
We carry this lineage as an honour and a responsibility: to keep our families together, to serve one another, and to live by the example of the Ahl-e-Bait.
The forefather of our families, from whom the AJAK Syed families descend. His blessed shrine (mazar) is in India.

Request support →For decades the stage of AJAK Syed Jamat, Karachi has hosted the great scholars of Pakistan for the Muharram majalis and community gatherings.
⤢ ViewOne of the greatest scholars and orators in Pakistan's history. For years Maulana Muhammad Shafi Okarvi came to deliver his bayan at the Muharram majalis of AJAK Syed Jamat, recounting the sacrifice of Imam Husain (a.s.) and the martyrs of Karbala to our families.
The tradition continues today: his son, Allama Dr. Kaukab Noorani Okarvi, now addresses our Muharram majalis.
